FAQ
What is Alive?
Alive is the official radio station for Orton Longueviile School. It is student led (i.e. started and organised by [media] students) and new to the school.

When and how can I listen?
Alive is going to be broadcast every lunchtime in places which are appropriate and of which have speakers, such as the library. There aren't many spots yet, but we are hoping to add more as the radio progresses and grows.
———
Can I become a DJ, and if so how?
First off, the definition of DJ or disc jockey does not apply to us here at Alive. We would prefer to be called presenters, or hosts.
Secondly, we will be holding auditions soon for Alive presenters, so look out for further information on the website and around school!
———
Can I go and see the studio?
Unfortunately, the studio is off limits to everyone but team members and those with authorised access.
———
Can I request songs or give shoutouts?
Yes you can! We encourage requests and shoutouts, although if you include anything inappropriate we will have to report you, as it is unacceptable to abuse the service.
———
So, what exactly is Alive for?
Alive is here for your entertainment, and to keep you up-to-date on school news, and also national and international news! We will be playing a variety of music, doing competitions, keeping you up-to-date on news, and also telling you daily what lessons are in ELC, so make sure you tune in to see what's happening!
